A Pilot Study will focus on PFAS exposure to these chemicals at the former Pease Air Force base.

25th Annual Halloween parade October 31st
October 7, 2019The Portsmouth Halloween Parade is an all-volunteer effort, not a City-sponsored event. The parade steps off from Peirce Island at 7 pm and ends at Prescott Park. The parade route proceeds down Daniel Street into Market Square.
ALERT: Chapel Street CLOSED October 1 from 7 am to 12 noon
September 30, 2019Chapel Street between Daniel and Bow Streets will be closed from 7 am to 12 noon on Tuesday, October 1 to perform work on the road surface in front of St. John's Church. Traffic will be rerouted around the area and will be blocked from entering Bow from Market Street. The right turn from Penhallow to Bow will also be blocked.
