PLEASE NOTE: Since January 1, 2019, the 6 types of Building permits are all consolidated into a single application through the ViewPoint system.  Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire permits will remain separate applications.

Once the permit has been approved, and you would like to schedule an inspection, please follow the instructions below:

Prior to scheduling, either on the portal  or by calling the office, please make sure to have the permit number!

BLDG Permits- All Building Inspections, whether residential or commercial MUST BE scheduled by calling the Inspections office at 603-610-7243. Please call and provide the permit number and the address along with what kind of inspection you need.

Inspection Department Responsibilities

The Building Inspection Department is responsible for the review and approval of building, electrical, plumbing and mechanical plans and specifications. 

Applications for building permits, change-in-land-use permits, fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits are issued though the Inspection Office.
