Embroidery 201: Create Your Own Design, Tuesday May 9

Embroidery is a rewarding and affordable way to enhance your clothing and other belongings, an excellent gift to give in any season, and an interesting way to explore symbols and design motifs. Join in the long history of embroidery as a mode of self-expression in this two-week class.

Together we will gather inspiration, design our own patterns with abstract shapes or symbols from the natural world, learn stitches to make these designs a reality, and bring our ideas to fruition. Library staff will assist you along the way.
